DEMAND EQUAL TIME

I believe it's time to turn the focus from boycott to Equal Time.

The Sinclair "news piece" will run, period. Let's get out there at Monday's protests and give the media OUR view.

- The Liberal Media is a Myth.

- Sinclair is a mouthpiece for the Bush Administration.

- The "mainstream media" needs to do their job and give America the truth!

- When will other newsworthy docs be aired commercially free?

- Watch UNCOVERED: THE WHOLE TRUTH ABOUT IRAQ will be aired:

10/27 @ 10pm on Sundance!

This is our opportunity to spread the word about the failure of the mainstream media, and to put the truth about this administration in front of the people. We should focus the Sinclair Buzz away from the anti-Kerry doc and ONTO the plethora of anti-Bush films, and then challenege the media to run those AS EQUAL TIME!

The Swifboat ads garnered far more air time than was paid for, simply from play on news programs. The more we talk about the anti-Bush docs the more play they are likely to get.

Write your local editors, news station GM's and local papers, and demand Equal Time! Give them a list of films that could JUST AS EASILY qualify as "news".

Greenwald Films, for example!

The anti-Bush material is MUCH deeper than just Moore's film. MUCH!

GET TO WORK. WE HELPED MAKE THIS STORY

NOW WE NEED TO MAKE IT WORK FOR US!

Actually, I'd LOVE Kerry to respond to Stolen Honor. After listening to a recording of him accusing his boatmates of atrocities (On Meet the Press last April 18), I'd like him to come clean as to whether he committed atrocities as he said he did.

Hi,
I live in Baltimore, MD, where Sinclair is located. Do you know about any local protests that are planned at their corporate headquarters? How can I find out?

I am in favor of Freedom of Speech. Let Sinclair do whatever they want. Since over half the population support Kerry, these people should boycott Sinclair and their advertisers. Money talks. If less than 06% of Americans can get Companies to pull out of broadcasting "The Reagans", then 52% of Americans can force Companies advertising on Sinclair to pull out of their support.
I have few stations in my area, but if those that live in cities where Sinclair has stations can post advertiser, we all get active in contacting these companies and boycott their products.

Where is Senator John McCain?!?

How can Senator John McCain remain totally silent regarding the airing of the Anti-Kerry documentary "Stolen Honor" by Sinclair Broadcasting??

I am a huge supporter of Senator McCain - so it strikes me as odd that Sen. McCain has no comment regarding this issue. I called his office in Washington, D.C. and asked what Sen. McCain's position was regarding Sinclair broadcasting the Anti-Kerry documentary "Stolen Honor" and was told "he has not released a position yet" I asked when he will release a position and was told "I don't know". How can he remain silent???!?? This is his issue. This action by Sinclair drives a stake through the heart of campaign finance reform not to mention that Sen. McCain is the Chairman of the Commerce, Science & Transportation Committee which has jurisdiction over the FCC. This issue is a convergence of so many of Sen. McCain's stands (FCC regluations, FEC regulations, etc). Yet, he is oddly silent. Sen. McCain has preached about this very abuse of the system and now that he can actually do something about it he remains silent. I hate to say it since I am such a big fan, but it appears that he has become "gutless".

Please Sen. McCain, say something, do something, don't let this issue pass without a comment. If you remain silent, your true colors will be revealed. I know deep in my heart you are an independent thinker - say something.

The liberal media is a myth? Bull. You can't see it because you see the world through the same eyes.

The questions on the first debate were totally biased toward Kerry.

Dan Rather is almost rabid with his views it jumps off the screen.

Ever notice if Bush has a slight 1-3% poll lead it is "within the margin of error" and if Kerry has a slight lead it's because he's winning? Myth? more like head in the clouds.

From the Sinclair message board—someone posted this—couldn't be clearer if true!

Any attorneys here?

"Electioneering Restrictions and Disclosure Under The Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (BCRA), state: "funds from corporations (whether nonprofit or for-profit entities) and unions may not be used to pay for 'electioneering communications', which are broadcast, cable, or satellite communications that:

- refer to a clearly identified Federal candidate;

- are broadcast within 60 days before the general election of the candidate or within 30 days before the party primary, convention, or caucus that nominates the candidate;

- are targeted to the "relevant electorate," i.e., over 50,000 persons in the State or district that the candidate seeks to represent.

Exemptions are provided for news stories, commentaries, editorials, and candidate debates and forums. BCRA gives the FEC authority to make additional exemptions, so long as they do not promote, support, attack, or oppose a Federal candidate."

hey, brian, the questions were slanted towards Kerry? wow. i never heard a republican be such a wuss before. usually they're tough, like "Bush won, dude!"

but you're actually admitting he lost and blaming it on the moderator asking questions that were too tough for the president to answer? that's great. i love that.

fox news - republican. direct tv, owned b y republican. viacom, run by a guy who said he supports bush. NBC/MSNBC/CNBC - owned by GE, HUGE defense contractor. PBS, controlled by Republican fundraisers.

yeah, definitely a liberal media bias alright! especially when you consider the fact that the Republicans handed the media companies deregulation and tax breaks for the past four years.

sorry, must be my one set of eyes talking.

Why we need to contact ALL Sinclair Broadcasting Group advertisers.

The CEO & the other powerful people at Sinclair Broadcasting Group make most of THEIR OWN MILLIONS by way of company stock.

Top owners of SBG stock:

These are the insiders at Sinclair Broadcast Group who will make the decision whether the smear about John Kerry will be aired.

Dyson Ehrhardt has 11,810,500 shares
This person LOSES $11 MILLION DOLLARS for every dollar the stock goes down

David D Smith has 11,347,320 shares
This person LOSES $11 MILLION DOLLARS for every dollar the stock goes down

Duncan J Smith has 11,072,300 shares
This person LOSES $11 MILLION DOLLARS for every dollar the stock goes down

Robert E Smith has 7,448,855 shares
This person LOSES $7 MILLION DOLLARS for every dollar the stock goes down

Frederick E Smith has 500,000 shares
This person LOSES $1/2 MILLION DOLLARS for every dollar the stock goes down

Thats OVER $40 million dollars they lose for every dollar the stock goes down.

Great but how do we make the stock go down?

We contact “ALL” advertisers on Sinclair Broadcasting Group and advise them we will not be purchasing any of their products if they continue to advertise on Sinclair Broadcasting Group.

This includes “BOTH” National and local advertisers.

If a National advertiser like KMart says they can not control whether their advertising runs on Sinclair Broadcasting Group or not I explain that if I were in their position I would find a way to make sure their advertising does not support Sinclair Broadcasting Group.

List of advertisers

http://www.boycottsbg.com/advertisers/

VERY IMPORTANT: Now to really make sure the price of SBG stock starts dropping very quickly EVERYBODY should contact the following Institutional and Mutual Fund holders of SBG stock. ( SEE BELOW )

Each person should contact the following Institutional and Mutual Fund companys.

The fastest way to contact these companys is by email. Write one email. Save it to your drafts folder. Now just copy & paste.

When you contact these companys all you need to do is state you are contacting them because they are holding a great deal of Sinclair Broadcasting Group stock worth millions of dollars.

Next you state that you are advising them that if Sinclair Broadcasting Group goes forward with airing the smear documentary about John Kerry you will be participating in the boycotting of all advertisers who continue to support Sinclair Broadcasting Group.

Next you say I am advising you of the pending boycott so that you will have the needed time required for you to sell all your stock shares in Sinclair Broadcast Group so you do not lose millions of dollars if the stock should start losing value.

Next you advise them that if they decide to continue to hold Sinclair Broadcasting Group stock and it does decrease in value we will be notifing all their investors that they were notified ahead of time about the pending boycott which provided the needed time to sell the shares before the decrease in the value of the stock.

This will provide the investors with documented proof that the investor can use to recover any monetary looses incurred from the fund company.

This is so typical of the liberal crowd. Why is there a big push against Sinclair Broadcast Group, yet no mention of boycotting Michael Moore's movies. Or why does there seem to be such disdain against those who seemed upset over Dan Rather's use of those "questionable documents"? It appears there is a call for censorship of these documentaries by those on the left only if it appears that their guy loses face as a result of them. If in fact, the tide is turned, they decry the use of censorship, instead calling for open debate. This has always been a tactic of liberal left wingers, silence any and all comments of those that speak against what they believe in, and call the other side "unloving", "cruel" or even in some cases "intolerant".

Kerry Involved in 1971 Anti-war Plot
to Assassinate U.S. Senators?

U.S. Veteran Dispatch
August 8, 2004

Thomas H. Lipscomb, writing for the New York Sun reported March 13, 2004, that in 1971, the pro-Hanoi anti-war group that presidential candidate John Kerry was principal leader and spokesman of debated and voted down a plot to assassinate U.S. Senators who supported the Vietnam War. Numerous media outlets claim witnesses and FBI documents conclusively place Kerry at that November 1971 meeting of Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW) in Kansas City.
The revelation that VVAW debated killing members of Congress is not a new. The plot was reported in Gerald Nicosia's 2001 book, Home To War. Nicosia wrote that one of the key leaders of the organization, former Marine Scott Camil, "proposed the assassination of the most hard-core conservative members of Congress, as well as any other powerful, intractable opponents of the antiwar movement."

According to the Nicosia book and interviews with VVAW members who were involved, at the VVAW's Kansas City leadership conference, Camil called together eight to 10 former Marines to organize their version "The Phoenix Project." The original Phoenix Project during the Vietnam War was a secret program designed to destroy the Vietnamese Communist leadership by assassination.

Camil's Phoenix Project planned to execute the Southern senatorial leadership Senators like John Stennis, Strom Thurmond, and John Tower who were voting to finance the Vietnam War. The senators were to be killed during the Senate Christmas recess the following month.

Mr. Nicosia's book recounts that Camil's plan was presented to all the chapter coordinators present and the VVAW leadership. "What Camil sketched was so explosive that the coordinators feared lest government agents even hear of it. So they decamped to a church on the outskirts of town with the intention of debating the plan in complete privacy. When they got to the church, however, they found that the government was already on to them; their 'debugging expert' uncovered microphones hidden all over the place. An instantaneous decision was made to move again to Common Ground, a Mennonite hall used by homeless vets as a 'crash pad.'"

Kerry campaign spokesman, David Wade, said Kerry did not attend the Kansas City meeting, and Kerry biographer Douglas Brinkley said Kerry told him he was a "noshow."

"Kerry may have resigned shortly after that meeting or at the meeting…" recalled the VVAW Kansas State coordinator at the time of the meeting, John Musgrave, in a March 13, 2004, Kansas City Star interview.

Musgrave, a disabled ex-marine from Baldwin City, Kansas, told the Star that he specifically remembered Kerry's attendance and his speaking against the murder plot.

Musgrave said he got a call from John Hurley, the Kerry campaign's veterans coordinator saying "I'd like you to refresh your memory." Musgrave said Hurley said it twice. "Call that reporter back and say you were mistaken about John Kerry being there."

Musgrave said, "I told Hurley it was my first meeting as a state officer of the VVAW, and I remember John being there. I remember what I remember."

Musgrave told Lipscomb that he received three Purple Hearts in Vietnam. After the third Purple Heart for wounds by three 7.62 rounds, one to the jaw and two to the left chest, Musgrave refused the standard release from further service in the combat zone offered Marines with three Purple Hearts and tried to return to his unit, he said. Because of the extent of his injuries he was retired from the Marines with full disability and sent home, he said.
When asked whom he is supporting in the presidential election, Musgrave replied, "I am undecided. But I am sure not voting for some guy who called me a liar."
Kerry's camp said the Massachusetts Democrat does not recall the meeting, although FBI surveillance material and the group's archives clearly show that Kerry resigned from his post as VVAW national coordinator at that November 1971 meeting.

Was Kerry obligated to report the VVAW assassination plot to authorities???
Under certain conditions, knowing about such a plot and not reporting it is a crime.

What You Don’t Know About John Kerry
Chuck Noe, NewsMax.com
Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004
With his win in Iowa, Sen. John Kerry could be on his way to the White House. But most Americans are unaware of the real Kerry.
Here are facts and quotations that reveal the character of the new Democrat leader.

Denouncing America with ‘Hanoi Jane’: Although Wesley Clark and others have attacked former front-runner Howard Dean as a draft-dodging ski bum, Kerry is far more complex than the simple war hero he portrays himself as.
He became a celebrated organizer for one of America's most extreme appeasement groups, Vietnam Veterans Against the War. He consorted with the likes of “Hanoi” Jane Fonda and Ramsey Clark, Lyndon Johnson’s radical former attorney general.

He attended a seminar bankrolled by Fonda in Detroit in February 1971. Watching 125 self-proclaimed Vietnam veterans testify at a Howard Johnson’s about atrocities allegedly committed by U.S. forces, the man who would be president later said he found the accounts shocking and irrefutable.

Dubbed “The Winter Soldier Investigation,” the protest attracted minimal media attention, according to the Los Angeles Times, because Fonda insisted it be held in the remote Michigan city rather than the less “authentic” Washington, D.C.

Still, the event gave Kerry an idea for a protest that was sure to be a media smash, and he immediately set out to organize one of the most confrontational protests of the war.

Operation Dewey Canyon III began on April 18, 1971, when nearly 1,000 Vietnam veterans and people claiming to be veterans gathered on Washington’s Mall for what they called “a limited incursion into the country of Congress.”

The group staged mock firefights on the steps of the Capitol and Supreme Court and defied U.S. Park Police after the Department of Justice issued an injunction barring it from camping on the Mall.

Those evil American soldiers: Testifying before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on April 23, 1971, Kerry claimed that U.S. soldiers had “raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam.”

‘We are not the best’: In his testimony, Kerry claimed there was no communist threat and said: “In 1970 at West Point Vice President Agnew said ‘some glamorize the criminal misfits of society while our best men die in Asian rice paddies to preserve the freedom which most of those misfits abuse,’ and this was used as a rallying point for our effort in Vietnam. But for us, as boys in Asia whom the country was supposed to support, his statement is a terrible distortion from which we can only draw a very deep sense of revulsion, and hence the anger of some of the men who are here in Washington today. It is a distortion because we in no way consider ourselves the best men of this country ….”
U.S. Veteran Dispatch noted in 1996: “Kerry's testimony, it should be noted, occurred while some of his fellow Vietnam veterans were known by the world to be enduring terrible suffering as prisoners of war in North Vietnamese prisons. Kerry was a supporter of the ‘People's Peace Treaty,’" a supposed ‘people's’ declaration to end the war, reportedly drawn up in communist East Germany. It included nine points, all of which were taken from Viet Cong peace proposals at the Paris peace talks as conditions for ending the war.”

Throw as I say, not as I do: On that same day he led members of VVAW in a protest during which they threw their medals and ribbons over a fence in front of the U.S. Capitol.
Kerry later admitted the medals he threw were not his. To this day they hang on the wall of his office.

Communist stooge: The communist Daily World delightedly published photos of him speaking to demonstrators and boasted that the marchers displayed a banner depicting a portrait of Communist Party leader Angela Davis, on record stating, “I am dedicated to the overthrow of your system of government and your society,” the New American recalled in May 2003.
“By frequently participating in VVAW’s demonstrations, Kerry found himself marching alongside what the Boston Herald Traveler identified as ‘revolutionary Communists.’ While noting that known Reds had openly organized these events, the December 12, 1971 Herald Traveler reported the presence of an ‘abundance of Vietcong flags, clenched fists raised in the air, and placards plainly bearing legends in support of China, Cuba, the USSR, North Korea and the Hanoi government.’"

Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry says: “As a national leader of VVAW, Kerry campaigned against the effort of the United States to contain the spread of Communism. He used the blood of servicemen still in the field for his own political advancement by claiming that their blood was being shed unnecessarily or in vain.

“Under Kerry's leadership, VVAW members mocked the uniform of United States soldiers by wearing tattered fatigues marked with pro-communist graffiti. They dishonored America by marching in demonstrations under the flag of the Viet Cong enemy.”

Sen. John McCain revealed that his North Vietnamese captors had used reports of Kerry-led protests to taunt him and his fellow prisoners. Retired General George S. Patton III angrily noted that Kerry’s actions had “given aid and comfort to the enemy.”

In recent years when Kerry has exploited the Vietnam Veterans Memorial for photo opportunities on Veterans Day, some veterans, still outraged by his betrayal, have turned their backs on him.

The book he doesn’t want you to see: When Kerry ran for election to the U.S. House of Representative in 1972, “he found it necessary to suppress reproduction of the cover picture appearing on his own book, The New Soldier. His political opponent pointed out that it depicted several unkempt youths crudely handling an American flag to mock the famous photo of the U.S. Marines at Iwo Jima,” according to Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry.
“Suddenly, copies of the book became unavailable and even disappeared from libraries. But the Lowell (Mass.) Sun said of the type of person shown on its cover: ‘These people spit on the flag, they burn the flag, they carry the flag upside down, [and] they all but wipe their noses with it in their efforts to show their contempt for everything it still stands for,’” the New American reported.

Even today it is hard to find this infamous photo and book.

Friendly with the enemy: Kerry’s fondness for Vietnam’s communist dictatorship, one of the most oppressive in the world, continues.
As chairman of the Select Senate Committee on POW/MIA Affairs, created in 1991 to investigate reports that U.S. prisoners of war and soldiers designated missing in action were still alive in Vietnam, Kerry badgered the panel into voting that no American servicemen remained in Vietnam.

“[N]o one in the United States Senate pushed harder to bury the POW/MIA issue, the last obstacle preventing normalization of relations with Hanoi, than John Forbes Kerry,” noted U.S. Veteran Dispatch.

“But Kerry's participation in the Committee became controversial in December 1992,” reported the nonpartisan Center for Public Integrity, “when Hanoi announced that it had awarded Colliers International, a Boston-based real estate company, an exclusive deal to develop its commercial real estate potentially worth billions. Stuart Forbes, the CEO of Colliers, is Kerry's cousin.”

The “odd coincidence,” according to FrontPageMagazine.com, involved a deal worth $905 million.

Jeff Jacoby, the token conservative columnist at the Boston Globe, notes that Kerry continues his apologia for Vietnam's never-ending atrocities. "Far from taking the lead on the Vietnam Human Rights Bill, he has prevented it from coming to a vote. He claims that making an issue of Hanoi's repression would be counterproductive."

Kerry is also a fan of China’s communist dictatorship. “On May 19, 1994, five years after Tiananmen Square, Kerry spoke on the Senate floor against linking China's Most Favored Nation trade status to its human rights record,” Slate reported.

Kerry said: “China is the strongest military power in Asia. We need China's cooperation. We cannot afford to adopt a cold-war kind of policy that merely excludes and pushes China away.”

Limiting China's MFN status “would make us a bit player in a production of enormous proportions. We possess no stick, including MFN, which can force China to embrace internationally recognized human rights and freedoms.”

More extreme than Hillary and Kucinich: Among the White House wannabes, long-shot Rep. Dennis Kucinich has the reputation of holding the most left-wing congressional voting record. In fact, this “honor” goes to Kerry.
According to American Conservative Union, Kerry has a lifetime rating of 6 percent, compared to 13 for the demolished Rep. Dick Gephardt, 14 for Sen. John Edwards, 15 for Kucinich and 19 for Sen. Joe Lieberman.

Sens. Hillary Clinton and Tom Daschle score 13 percent. Only the likes of Sens. Teddy Kennedy and Barbara Boxer have more left-wing records than Kerry. In contrast, Sen. John Breaux, one of the upper chamber’s few remaining moderate Democrats, has a 46.

Drive as I say, not as I do: Like Al Gore and other self-described environmentalists, Kerry has a radical agenda that would devastate the U.S. economy in favor of the likes of communist China, yet he enjoys the gas-guzzling modern conveniences that greens denounce. Kerry, a delegate to the environment-destroying Earth Summit in 1992 (where he met his future wife, left-wing activist Teresa Heinz, the multimillionaire widow of GOP Sen. John Heinz), the Kyoto climate talks in 1997 and the Hague Conference of the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change in 2000, has attacked President Bush for withdrawing from the anti-U.S. Kyoto Protocol. This treaty, which then-President Bill Clinton had signed, would impose severe restrictions on the United States but not Third World polluters that already enjoy huge trade surpluses with the U.S.
However, although Kerry spouts the party line on anti-U.S. ecopolicy, he doesn’t like to practice what he preaches. Kerry was humiliated in April 2002 when photographed attending a rally against energy independence and then heading back to his SUV, the symbol of all that is evil to self-described greens.

Bone to pick: Bush-hating conspiracy theorists find it alarming that the president, like his father, was a member of the secretive Skull and Bones society at Yale University. Another alum of this club: John Kerry.

Get out your wallets: One reason Kerry and Edwards did well in Iowa: Losers Dean and Gephardt admitted they'd repeal all of the president's tax relief. However, although Kerry has taken credit for middle-class tax cuts, child tax credit and relief of the marriage penalty, he voted against them, GOP.com disclosed.
"Kerry will have to expend an awful lot of time and money to convince people that he's not the classic Massachusetts liberal," Larry Sabato, a respected political analyst at the University of Virginia, told the Associated Press in December 2002. "And that's going to be tough, because mainly he is."

Waffling on Iraq: Kerry has the tough job of wooing Howard Dean’s anti-war Democrats despite his support of the war in Iraq. His favorite tactic, claiming the president outfoxed him, doesn’t hold up to scrutiny.
On “Meet the Press” in late August, Tim Russert played a tape of Kerry addressing the Senate in October 2002 with a hard-line speech declaring Iraq “capable of quickly producing weaponizing” of biological weapons that could be delivered against “the United States itself.”

Kerry insisted: “That is exactly the point I’m making. We were given this information by our intelligence community.”

However, as columnist Robert Novak noted, “as a senator, Kerry had access to the National Intelligence Estimate that was skeptical of Iraqi capability. Being tricky may no longer be as effective politically as it once was.”

No doubt Dean, Lieberman, Clark and other rivals will now use these and other details to do to Kerry what the Democrats did to Dean.

Audiotape, April 18, 1971):

MR. CROSBY NOYES (Washington Evening Star): Mr. Kerry, you said at one time or another that you think our policies in Vietnam are tantamount to genocide and that the responsibility lies at all chains of command over there. Do you consider that you personally as a Naval officer committed atrocities in Vietnam or crimes punishable by law in this country?

KERRY: There are all kinds of atrocities, and I would have to say that, yes, yes, I committed the same kind of atrocities as thousands of other soldiers have committed in that I took part in shootings in free fire zones. I conducted harassment and interdiction fire. I used 50 calibre machine guns, which we were granted and ordered to use, which were our only weapon against people. I took part in search and destroy missions, in the burning of villages. All of this is contrary to the laws of warfare, all of this is contrary to the Geneva Conventions and all of this is ordered as a matter of written established policy by the government of the United States from the top down. And I believe that the men who designed these, the men who designed the free fire zone, the men who ordered us, the men who signed off the air raid strike areas, I think these men, by the letter of the law, the same letter of the law that tried Lieutenant Calley, are war criminals.

Hi, Nice post.
But you're kidding yourself if you think something as outdated as the simple truth will sway any Kerry clones.

I cannot believe there is actually a site setup to boycott Sinclair...:( You people ever hear of the first amendment? Why don't you actually wait to see it before you try to censor it. The fact is, the swift boat vets are telling the truth and you're in denial. The fact is Clinton was the worst president in history but what's truly frightening is that Kerry would be way worse and dangerous to our great country.
You Kerry fans have had it all good all election long as the mainstream media has been firmly in Kerry's pocket. Imagine electing a communist as our president.

Going to be real nice to view the truth and see that communist's face knowing that it's over for him. :)

Demand equal time? Ummm...yeah, I think Sinclair gave Kerry the opportunity to have time to himself during the broadcast, but he declined.

THEN, Kerry changed his mind and asked for time. Gee! Gosh! Shazam! Kerry changed his mind?? Unbelievable! Couldn't happen! No way! Kerry NEVER changes his mind...or does he?

What an idiot! And his supporters just don't see it.

I love republicans - consistent, consistent, consistent.

"I'm just not that concerned about him"

He never changes his mind - I know, I know.

Oh and, btw, we will get our equal time, get ready.

I can't believe the ingnorance of these Bush supporters, but that's exactly what he relies on. What's truly unbelievable is that these people who so strongly support him are the people he hurts the most
(lower income, uneducated). Our kids are dying for Bush's hidden agenda in Iraq. Don't you find it alarming that one of the very few foreign countries endorsing Bush is IRAN ? WAKE UP !!!
Kerry wasn't alone as a veteran opposing the war in Vietnam, everyone new that war was wrong for America. And there WERE Americans who did very bad things over there. I respect him for having the guts to stand up and do what was right.

Wake Up. Wake Up! Wake Up!
It's useless, the pied piper (Bush) has cast his spell, and there's no way to awaken the dull minds of his children. Unfortunately, they're threatening to take all of us with them where they go! We'll be dragged away by the mindless minions who ignore reality and continue to believe everything Bush says. I've given up hoping reason can reach them. It's cold comfort, but if they succeed in electing G.W.B to a second term, at least we'll be in the position to say "I tried to wake you before it was too late; I warned you of what would happen!". The exchange of a bright future for a bleak one filled with untold miseries, is a loss of such profound implications as to stagger the imagination. The loss of even a single year can never be made right, and our loss will extend well beyond the next four years. Indeed, America will change directions and be unable to return for many decades (longer than many of us will be around). Make no mistake; that will be the consequence of four more years of Bush.

On point. Sinclair's activities are simply echoing the pied piper's message. It's a clear violation and misuse of the public airways to not provide equal time to the candidates. This must not stand. Long after the race is over; this transression must not be forgotten. We must fight big business control of our media and strengthen the regulation of broadcasters. Congress must be show that this is an issue of importance. The FCC must be given a clear and continuing message: fair use of the people's broadcast spectrum must be actively monitored and broadcasters must follow the rules or lose their license.

Rebuttal. Typical Bush Think: a biased broadcaster's attempt to manipulate John Kerry by baiting him to participate to his disadvantage in a program clearly intended to smear him is a fair offer. Obviously it's not, and of course Kerry wasn't interested. Then, when Kerry asks for the equal time guaranteed him by FCC regulations, and is unethically denied, he must be a 'flip-flopper'. Well, they ought to be able to recognize one, merely from the experience of the last four years!

Implications. I suppose Bush supporters are simply unable to recognize the enormous number of instances and ways George has flip-flopped, or worse yet, promised one thing and done another. Of course, George Bush's whole record barely amounts to a tiny fraction of John Kerry's; so obviously there's less there to point out, but what is there is damning. Another important point is that a Senate Record is necessarily one of making compromises, working with groups and finding consensus; that's how laws are made. Hardly fair to characterize such correct and proper decisions as being somehow indicative of an inability to take a position. Additionally, the presidency is a different job; there are far fewer opportunities to appear guilty of changing positions; it's the nature of the office (and not some special decisiveness inherent in G.B.).

Returning to the issue. In any case, Sinclair's efforts are in vain. Febrile attempts to distort and mislead people regarding Kerry's decision to try to stop the Vietnam war, will convince no one other than Bush supporters. Anyone else will understand that the issue isn't as simple as they attempt to paint it.

Irony. Ironic though, isn't it, George has no respectable military service nor any record of having taken a stand against the Vietnam war (or any other war). Stopping the Vietnam war was the right thing to do and represented the will of the people. Not only was Kerry right on that issue, he was also standing up for his beliefs (tempered with wisdom from the experience of the war). Furthermore, he spoke the truth (painful as it was). The whole matter shows enormous courage and conviction. No one who did not believe deeply in their position and also feel it was critical (to stop the bloodshed/loss of young American soldiers), would have gone through what he did. Typical of Bush supporters to forget Bush's ignominious behavior at the same time and decry someone who courageosly stood up for the truth (a word Bushies have difficulty grasping). Bush stayed home, partied, invested in developing his alcoholism and substance abuse and failed to even complete his service commitment (another word they don't get). Is that someone we want to hold up as a leader?

Alas. In his whole life, Bush has never done anything as difficult, courageous and noble as Kerry did by opposing the war; and that was just one very small example of Kerry's commitment to public service. Even so, the Bush campaign has sought to make it something to be ashamed of. All in all, that's an approach they use altogether too frequently. Ask yourself, shouldn't anyone who presumes to judge a man's courage, conviction and honesty actually need to have at least some of those qualities themselves? Bush is unqualified to make such judgements; and for that and a long list of other serious reasons, he does not deserve to be president (and certainly not be given a second term).

Wake up, it's not yet too late to save our future and the future of our children.

The level of intelligence displayed in the posts by Bush supporters continues to distress me; I don't like the idea that the American people appear to be so gullible or intellectually challenged.

One poster can't understand the reason behind the furor over Sinclair. Aside from the fact that it's a blatant politically motivated unfair misuse (breaks federal regulations) of the public (we, the people, own it) broadcasting media, they are attempting to affect the outcome of a U.S. Presidential election. The poster expresses an inability to understand the difference between a politically motivated movie (delievered only to paying customers, in theaters and/or by purchase/rental of a DVD/Video), and similar content (in it's first instance mis-identified as "News" to avoid federal regulations) delivered by broadcast television. Using the publicly owned broadcast spectrum to deliver the material involves unfair behavior in that it's delivered "to everyone" for "free" and also without the reciever's permission. In addition, since around half of the owner's of the medium being co-opted by force (effectively) would not choose to agree to it's use. That's why the FCC exists; to ensure that the use of the public airways are used in a way that's fair to, and does not offend, a significant percentage of the public owners. It's also to ensure fairness when being used for political gain; hence the requirement to provide equal access and therefore equal time to all sides of a politcal contest.

I have little** problem with the Republicans producing propaganda for their own consumption. I do however have a serious problem with them using a publicly owned resource to deliver such materials to everyone and particularly undecided voters shortly before a significant, serious election. They do this to gain unfair political advantage. This is positively inconsistent with "American" ideals. They should be ashamed of their behavior; we should all be ashamed of it.

**It's a waste of time and resources, with the intention to mislead it's viewers leading to potentially harmful results. That's not an ideal allocation of time, energy, talent and money which is all the more wasteful when one considers the opportunity cost (the value of the good things that could otherwise have been achieved but for the waste of creative resources).

Well, I give up. I concede defeat to the Bush supporter's who in their ever so effective (brilliant) approach to discussing an issue keep posting whole articles they've managed so cleverly to cut and paste from elsewhere; thus making it tiresome to parse one's way through a given set of comments.

Well, actually, it's not so hard to ignore such posts; my pgdn button takes care of it. But...

What a huge amount of blather. Everthing from believing in conspiracy theories against their leader (oh leader, I hear and I obey, I believe, I believe), to arguments that take the following form: "I know you are, but what am I?". I'm impressed.

By the way, the Michael Moore material is in response to the undemocratic behavior of Sinclair Broadcasting. It's kind of entertaining watching Republicans squirm when it looks the the shoe might be put on the other foot.

The U.S. Government is the nation's largest provider of financial assistance to women & minority owned small businesses. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is Congressionally mandated to assist the nation’s small businesses in meeting their financing needs. The SBA has small business loan programs and services to meet most small business needs. More information on U.S. Government Small Business Loans can be found at **www.SBASmallBusinessLoans.com**

How do Government SBA Small Business Loans work?

When a small business owner applies to a lending institution for a business loan, the lender reviews the application and decides if it merits a busiuness loan or if it requires an SBA guaranty. SBA backing on the business loan is then requested by the lender. In guaranteeing the business loan, the SBA assures the lender that, in the event the borrower does not repay the loan, the government will reimburse the lender for its loss. By providing this guaranty, the Small Business Administration helps tens of thousands of small business owners get financing they would not otherwise obtain.

How much money can I borrow?

Here are a few examples of what you can get from SBA small business loans programs:

7(a) Loan Guaranty Program

The 7(a) Loan Guaranty Program is the SBA's primary small business loan program. A maximum loan amount of $2 million has been established for 7(a) business loans.

Low Documentation Loan (SBALowDoc)

SBALowDoc is the SBA’s quick and easy program that provides a guaranty on small business loans of $150,000 or less. Once you have met your lender’s requirements for credit, the lender may request an SBALowDoc guaranty for up to 85 percent of the loan amount. You complete the front of a one-page SBA application, and the lender completes the back. At SBALowDoc centers, the agency processes completed applications within 36 hours.

SBAExpress

This method makes it easier and faster for lenders to provide small business loans of $250,000 or less. The SBA provides a rapid response through its PLP processing center in Sacramento, Calif.— within 36 hours of receiving the complete application package. Lenders use their own procedures to approve and service the loans.

CommunityExpress

The CommunityExpress pilot program is designed to spur economic development and job creation in untapped rural and inner city communities by providing loans and technical assistance. Loan proceeds may be used for most business purposes, including start-up, expansion, equipment purchases, working capital, inventory or real-estate acquisitions.
To be eligible for CommunityExpress, current or prospective small businesses must be located in low- and moderate-income urban and rural areas.

While CommunityExpress is similar to SBAExpress, here are some differences:

• CommunityExpress focuses on predesignated geographic areas that primarily low- and moderate-income urban and rural areas.

• The maximum loan amount under CommunityExpress is $250,000.

• CommunityExpress lenders, together with the National Community Reinvestment Coalition, provide hands-on technical training and support, both before and after loan closings, through community-based, nonprofit NCRC member organizations.

7(m) Microloan Program

The SBA’s Microloan Program provides very small loans up to $35,000 to small businesses and not-for-profit child-care centers through a network of locally based intermediary lenders. In addition to making the loans, the intermediaries provide management and technical assistance to microborrowers and potential microborrowers.

What can I use the loan proceeds for?

You can use an SBA small business loan to:

• expand or renovate facilities;
• purchase machinery, equipment, fixtures and leasehold improvements;
• finance receivables and augment working capital;
• refinance existing debt (with compelling reason);
• finance seasonal lines of credit;
• construct commercial buildings; and/or
• purchase land or buildings.

How do I repay the loan?

The length of time for repayment depends on the use of the loan proceeds and the ability of your small business to repay the loan. The term is usually 5 to 10 years for working capital, and up to 25 years for fixed assets such as the purchase or major renovation of real estate or purchase of equipment. There are no balloon payments, prepayment penalties, application fees or points permitted with these small business loans. Repayment plans may be tailored to each individual small business.

How do I get started?

You submit a business loan application to a lender for initial review. If the lender approves the business loan subject to an SBA guaranty, a copy of the loan application and a credit analysis are forwarded by the lender to the nearest SBA office. After SBA approval, the lending institution closes the business loan and disburses the funds; you make monthly loan payments directly to the lender. As with any loan, you are responsible for repaying the full amount of the loan. Visit **www.SBASmallBusinessLoans.com** for more info.

Blog about estate kansas real sign

Hi

Enjoyed the blog - nice to see someone else has activated their anonymous feature ;-)

I'm interested in investing in the real estate market in the US and am looking for some really cheap repossession properties in Beverley Hills, Santa Barbara, Denver, Colorado, San Francisco, Fort Lauderdale, Iowa, Hawaii, British Columbia, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New England, Minnesota, Miami, Florida, California, New York, Washington, Dallas, Texas, Chicago and Los Angeles. I've found a couple of really good sites - Bargain network which has some really cheap homes and Texas Ranches for sale - ranches in Texas plus both sites have beachfront villas and cars that have been repossessed and are really cheap!! Just wondering if there are any more sites like this.

Thanks for this.

John

Disaster is likely to wreak havoc in the life of an individual as soon as he becomes victim to erectile dysfunction and the most significant dreadful consequence of erectile dysfunction is that the afflicted man becomes incapable of facilitating erections required for sexual intercourse. The sexual vacuum resulted from erectile dysfunction prompts the sufferer to opt for anti-impotency pills, most especially the viagra medication that was approved by FDA (Food and Drugs Administration) as a clinically effective drug to cure erectile dysfunction in men. Viagra is meant to be administered by patients only after availing of viagra prescription from the doctor. The prescription for Viagra provided by the doctor spells out that the patient suffering from erectile dysfunction seriously need Viagra to treat his disorder and further authorizes the patient to avail of Viagra from the pharmacist.
